Fundado por Dalton Paula e Cei\u00e7a Ferreira, o Sert\u00e3o Negro fica localizado em Goi\u00e2nia-GO. Mais do que uma resid\u00eancia art\u00edstica, o Sert\u00e3o \u00e9 uma escola de arte multidisciplinar, onde o sentido de fazer arte \u00e9 fertilizado. Voc\u00ea entra com a cabe\u00e7a do tamanho de uma muda e sai com os pensamentos do tamanho de um p\u00e9 de jatob\u00e1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ap\u00f3s dois anos, escrevo sobre essa experi\u00eancia com anseio de retorno. Ainda preservo muitos dos ensinamentos e pr\u00e1ticas assimilados no dia a dia daquela escola. A reflex\u00e3o sobre outros modos de operar a vida, na contram\u00e3o das l\u00f3gicas predat\u00f3rias, faz manar o senso de integra\u00e7\u00e3o e comunidade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ao rememorar a minha estadia no Centro-Oeste do pa\u00eds, ressalto a import\u00e2ncia do deslocamento dentro da minha pr\u00e1tica. Conceber que habitamos um pa\u00eds continental implica um exerc\u00edcio de contextualizar-se dentro do seu pr\u00f3prio territ\u00f3rio, j\u00e1 que cada canto constr\u00f3i e armazena uma identidade muito espec\u00edfica de si. O territ\u00f3rio dentro do territ\u00f3rio. Para chegar ao conceito de territ\u00f3rio, passo primeiro a lidar com a mat\u00e9ria, essa \u00e9 a chave-mestra. Enraizando o pensamento, percebo que o desenvolvimento da minha pr\u00e1tica vem sendo constru\u00eddo atrav\u00e9s do desejo de buscar uma alian\u00e7a f\u00edsica e simb\u00f3lica com o elemento terra. A terra, que por si s\u00f3 evoca infinitas met\u00e1foras e metamorfoses, revela-se para mim enquanto verbo ao qual debru\u00e7o-me para conjugar. A palavra conjugar se faz muito cab\u00edvel, pois a ideia de se flexionar sobre os tempos, os modos e as pessoas aproxima-se dos m\u00e9todos com os quais venho produzindo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>O ponto de partida da pesquisa destinada \u00e0 resid\u00eancia previa a observa\u00e7\u00e3o das variedades de casas de animais feitas com a terra. Cupinzeiros, casas de abelhas e marimbondos, formigueiros, buracos de tatu. Argila e pigmentos naturais sobre tela, 120 x 100 cm<\/div><\/div><\/li>\n            <\/ul>\n        <\/div>\n        \n    <\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>A experi\u00eancia da resid\u00eancia se iniciou com uma viagem para o maior territ\u00f3rio quilombola do pa\u00eds, a Comunidade Quilombola Kalunga do Engenho II, localizada na Chapada dos Veadeiros. Um fato importante a ser mencionado \u00e9 que a comunidade Kalunga se manteve isolada desde os tempos coloniais do s\u00e9culo XVIII at\u00e9 meados de 1950, concebendo uma sociedade aut\u00f4noma, conectada com seu territ\u00f3rio, seus valores e saberes. Atravessando todo esse tempo, \u00e9 incr\u00edvel ver e sentir o encantamento deixado pelos ancestrais e perpetuado por cada quilombola que ali vive. Como dito anteriormente, o olhar sobre a casa dos animais no cerrado introduziu na minha pesquisa a reflex\u00e3o sobre como a mat\u00e9ria se transforma, e como n\u00f3s, humanos, observando a natureza, desenvolvemos tecnologia de subsist\u00eancia. No quilombo pude ver a terra enquanto mem\u00f3ria, morada e nutri\u00e7\u00e3o. Desde as casas de bambu a pique, \u00e0s ro\u00e7as de arroz, feij\u00e3o e muitos outros alimentos. De fato, o que chamamos de ecologia se confirma enquanto pr\u00e1tica na comunh\u00e3o e preserva\u00e7\u00e3o de uma alian\u00e7a com a natureza. Atrav\u00e9s dessas conex\u00f5es com pessoas, lugares, comidas e conhecimentos, pela primeira vez passo a coletar pequenas por\u00e7\u00f5es de terra como mat\u00e9ria-prima para os trabalhos que desenvolveria depois. Suas caracter\u00edsticas distintas me mostravam a melhor maneira de conduzi-los. Argilas, areias, min\u00e9rios e torr\u00f5es eram processados manualmente na feitura de novos pigmentos. A resid\u00eancia me induziu a solidificar uma ponte entre pr\u00e1tica e teoria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Os m\u00e9todos de acompanhamento realizados pelo Dalton se fundamentam em uma escuta afetiva, na emancipa\u00e7\u00e3o de uma investiga\u00e7\u00e3o cient\u00edfica experimental, no pertencimento coletivo e em refer\u00eancias bibliogr\u00e1ficas. A preciosa biblioteca do Sert\u00e3o Negro alicer\u00e7ou diversos temas que hoje conceituam e guiam a minha pr\u00e1tica, como a introdu\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0 geologia, \u00e0 paleontologia, \u00e0 arqueologia, entre outros\u2026 tudo isso combinado a um programa composto por aulas coletivas de cer\u00e2mica, gravura e capoeira. Elegendo essas palavras para descrever a experi\u00eancia no Sert\u00e3o Negro, percebo que elas n\u00e3o imprimem a carga precursora e catalisadora desse projeto. A constru\u00e7\u00e3o do Sert\u00e3o Negro \u00e9 a constru\u00e7\u00e3o de um sonho. Isso transparece nas escolhas \u00e9ticas e ecol\u00f3gicas do espa\u00e7o, desde o reservat\u00f3rio de \u00e1gua da chuva, \u00e0s paredes de taipa de pil\u00e3o, \u00e0 bacia de evapotranspira\u00e7\u00e3o, \u00e0s refei\u00e7\u00f5es coletivas, \u00e0s \u00e1rvores e plantas medicinais\u2026 Na verdade, este \u00e9 um relato-convite a n\u00e3o s\u00f3 conhecer o Sert\u00e3o Negro, mas tamb\u00e9m a refletir sobre a pr\u00e1tica art\u00edstica de maneira ampliada e respons\u00e1vel. Conceber que os processos formativos de um artista ultrapassam as fronteiras de um conhecimento formal e que \u00e9 na multidisciplinaridade e na conviv\u00eancia com o mundo que a pesquisa se fortalece. Ao entender a terra em suas diferentes camadas materiais e sens\u00edveis, a artista organiza composi\u00e7\u00f5es permeadas pelas no\u00e7\u00f5es de casa, abrigo e espa\u00e7o comunal. Entre suas exposi\u00e7\u00f5es individuais recentes est\u00e3o: \u201cmorada, alimento e autoteoria\u201d (Quadra, S\u00e3o Paulo, 2023) e \u201cPoros e ac\u00famulos (Carpintaria, Rio de Janeiro, 2022. Dentre as coletivas, destacam-se exposi\u00e7\u00f5es em institui\u00e7\u00f5es como MAC Niter\u00f3i (2025), Inclusartiz (2024), Auroras (SP 2022) e Tanya Bonakdar (Nova York, 2021).
